Scott Rye

Scott is the CEO and Co-Founder of Cybersecure IPS. As a veteran of the United States Navy with a degree in Advanced Electronics, Scott parlayed his military experience in Top Secret communications into a civilian career building leading-edge fiber optic security technologies. As one of the founding members of the Tellabs Government Systems team, Scott helped Tellabs become the first ever JITC Certified PON (Passive Optical Network) and Packet Transport equipment vendor in the world.

It was at this juncture where Scott applied his entrepreneurial instincts to solve a major problem in the cyber-security market by creating the world’s first end to end infrastructure cyber security solution, CyberSecure Infrastructure Protection System (IPS). Together with his business partner and CTO Steve Sohn, CyberSecure IPS developed an entire suite of hardware and software products that protect against the growing threat to critical infrastructures.

“My mission with CyberSecure IPS was and is to monitor and protect critical infrastructure networks around the world from physical attacks that cause major network outages.
